This is the A1 event certified byChinese Athletics Association, hosted by the Sport Bureau of Guizhou Province and Southwest Guizhou Prefecture People’s Government, organized by Southwest Guizhou Prefectural Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio, TV and Tourism and Xingyi Municipal People’s Government, executed by Xingyi Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio, TV and Tourism and Xingyi Wanfenglin Tourism Group, operated by Sichuan Bojie Sports Culture Communication Co., Ltd. Multiple enterprises in Xingyi work together to contribute to the large-scale mass sports event. There are three events, such as marathon, half marathon, and health run, to meet the different demands of runners, and provide them with the stage to present the strength andchallenge the limit.

Ingenuity and cultural infiltration add fun to the event. The artistic atmosphere is created along the marathon course to display the fashion art characteristics and the ethnic culture of Southwest Guizhou. In addition, theorganizing committee also sets up“red egg” gift area, intangible cultural heritage handicraft experience area, special product exhibition area, ethnic costume exhibition area, and other experience activities with local features.

In addition, eating rawchameleon plant, playing with“fish”, band performance, mailing handwritten letters, and other challenges make players feel thegracious hospitality andopen attitude of Xingyi people. Wax-dyeing, Bouyei & Miao folk performance, drum beating,bamboo pole dance, and otherintangible cultural heritage items and traditional culturalactivities, constitute the beautiful picture with anintegration of culture, sports and tourism. When the connotation of the event is enriched, Xingyi’s local features and historical culture are shown to enable runners to experience Xingyi’s humanistic landscape and beauty of nature, feel the unique charm of the city, and appreciate the fruitful results of high-quality development in Xingyi.

The people can taste all kinds of food in Xingyi to really understand Xingyi. At the ending point, the organizing committee sets up the special booth of Wanfenglin Marathon. There is the unique food of Xingyi,including glutinous rice cake, special BBQ,glutinous rice, and chicken balls in soup, to create“A Bite of Marathon Food”. Tasting delicious food starts together with running, to experience theveritable “best” marathon.

Measure the city with your footsteps, and chase the excellence with your beliefs. After thefierce competition, Chen Yongzhao won the champion of the men’s marathon group. Yang Shuanghua seized the champion of the women’s marathon group. Guan Yousheng obtained the champion of the men’s half marathon group. Liu Junhui gained the champion of the women’s half marathon group.
